Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Story-Weaver (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms from time to time. We'll notify you by email when we make material changes; continued use after notice means you accept the updated terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to create an account. Story-Weaver is a family service — accounts are for parents and guardians. Child profiles are managed by the account holder; children do not create accounts directly. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older.

3. Subscription, billing, and cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly basis unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until then.

The Trial Pass ($2.99) is a one-time, non-renewable 7-day pass. It does not auto-renew.

Pricing is displayed in USD. Local currency equivalents may vary. Payments processed through Apple or Google are subject to their respective terms and refund policies.

4. Acceptable use

You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial family use only. You may not:

• Redistribute, resell, or sublicense story audio, narrations, or illustrations
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download catalog content
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract assets from the Service
• Share account credentials with people outside your immediate family
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

5. Content licensing

The source folk tales in the catalog are in the public domain. Story-Weaver's adaptations, scene illustrations, and narration audio are our original creative work. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to listen to and view this content for your own family's use. This licence does not include the right to download, copy, or redistribute audio or image files unless explicitly stated (e.g. the downloadable PDF included in Family Plus).

Downloadable PDF picture books (Family Plus) are licensed for personal, household use. You may print them for your own family. You may not sell, republish, or distribute them.

6. Intellectual property

The Story-Weaver name, NightTales brand, logo, design system, illustrations, and narrations are owned by or licensed to Story-Weaver. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership to you. If you believe we have infringed your intellectual property, contact legal@nighttales.app.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, accuracy of story content, or suitability for any particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Story-Weaver's total liability to you for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions — in those cases, our liability is limited to the minimum extent permitted by law.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any disputes that cannot be resolved by mutual agreement will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Saudi Arabia.
