In the bustling, sun-baked streets of ninth-century Baghdad, there lived a young boy named Aladdin. He was the son of a poor tailor who had passed away, leaving Aladdin and his mother with very little. Instead of learning a trade, Aladdin spent his days running through the crowded souks, playing games with other children, and dreaming of a life beyond the dusty alleyways. His mother worked tirelessly, spinning cotton from dawn until dusk just to buy their daily bread. Aladdin loved his mother, but he was careless and had not yet learned the value of hard work.
